Kelly Kermode
Kelly Kermode is a self-professed renaissance gal with an insatiable penchant for learning. Kelly works as a cloud architect and engineer while also teaching part time in Michigan. With over 20 years of teaching and coaching experience, Kelly loves to think big and explore ways to think outside the box.
Over her career, Kelly has taught multiple discipline areas, including Journalism/English, health, economics, algebra, computer information systems, web design, game design, app development, AP Computer Science, etc. From Bolivia to California to Michigan to South Africa, Kelly loves to share her love for collaborative problem-solving, coding, data visualization, and geo-literacy. She leads workshops, provides coaching, conducts technical bootcamps, and facilitates custom professional development.
Kelly is a Google Professional Cloud Architect, Google Cloud Certified Associate Cloud Engineer, member of the Google Earth Education Advisory Board, Google Certified Innovator and Trainer, Adobe Education Leader, Adobe Certified Expert, and Adobe Education Trainer. Kelly earned her B.A. in English Literature and Philosophy from Francis Marion University and her Masters in Ed. from Aquinas College.
Kelly is the proud mother to two children, Tynan and Maddie. In her free time, Kelly enjoys reading, cooking, pottery, and gardening.
