WRITING FOR PUBLICATION

In February of 2018, I co-wrote and published a book on how to incorporate Google’s geo tools into instruction and daily practice. The book was technical with practical and anecdotal support for users.

SPEAKING

I’ve delivered keynotes and speeches to audiences from coast to coast, from international and statewide conferences to teams within an organization. Topics have ranged from innovation, to the WHY behind what we do, as well as geo literacies and the Global Goals, and beyond.

DATA ANALYSIS AND STORYTELLING

Data can be confusing. Reading trends and making assertions about where we are heading can be daunting. Throughout several different jobs, I’ve been tasked with taking data sets, cleaning them, and visualizing the analysis for multiple stakeholders, ranging from top level organizational leaders, to foundation donors, to corporate product teams.

Whether it is quantitative or qualitative data, I enjoy asking questions, seeing the data from all sides, and finding the story that lies within.

DIGITAL CONTENT DEVELOPMENT

As I’ve vacillated between freelance web designer, online interview facilitator, courseware developer, and online course instructor and presenter, I have enjoyed working with agencies to reach audiences near and far. Many courses can by found on the Adobe EdEx.

I have had the privilege to work with EdgeGain, LLC (UK), BrainBuffet (US FL), Clarity Innovations (US OR), EdTech Team (US CA), as well as several local companies in Michigan.

As a lead of several teams within my organization, I have enjoyed setting goals, outlining strategic steps and action items, as well as learning from my teammates.
